The third platform technology acquired by NuVue Therapeutics consists of patented and proprietary methods of using cryotherapeutics – the cooling of tissues for therapeutic purposes.

With several issued and pending patents, this technology was originally developed under the leadership of Dr. Patrick Le Pivert at CryoFlex, Inc., which reportedly invested $2 million in its development. 

NuVue acquired the technologies, i.e. patents, of CryoFlex, Inc., in September 2002 and has continued their development.  NuVue’s cryotherapeutics technology leverages the Company’s other technologies, when used in concert with one another, into a completely new and innovative Technology Platform.
